Damien has led manufacturing teams for major organisations across the globe and the food supply chain, from Nestle(UK), Fonterra, KraftHeinz, to Ovation and Pasture Pet Foods. He has a passion for innovation, best in class manufacturing and building high performance teams. He believes GGA is perfectly placed to provide solutions to the shortage of sustainably produced proteins and the high levels of food waste produced in the food chain. Damien's depth of manufacturing and technical knowledge is a powerful addition to the leadership team.

Jessie is a passionate innovator, leader and entrepreneur. Co founder of the much loved I Love Pies brand she has a passion for branding, business and the environment and is able to combine both her creative and scientific skillset in the business arena. Her involvement with community group Save Our Sands and Greenpeace led her to realise a desire to combine her business skills with helping the environment. This led her to launch the eco pet food brand WonderFULL Nutrition which in turn saw the spark of the idea to bring BSFL farming to NZ. She brings a pedigree of business, science and creative skills to the team.

Co-Founder and Operations Manager + People and Culture

Leo has built a multi layered career in line with his purpose - that is to help people and the world we live in. He dedicated the first part of his career to understanding the mind and body joining the University of Physical Education in Brazil and subsequently trained all over the globe with massage, healing techniques and psychology. He has run several successful businesses in the health and well being space and also developed a successful commercial hydroponic facility in Brazil. With Leo’s natural empathetic leadership style and MacGyver-level skills (he has worked with construction and building throughout the US, Brazil and New Zealand) he is key to building a highly skilled team of engaged insect growers and is key to setting the tone for a positive culture at GGA.
